As a child born in America to Dominican parents, I lived with a sense of privilege that when I spent my childhood summers spent in Dominican Republic, I would complain and talk down on things I seen when I visited. As I grew up and started to travel the world more and life humbled me. Going back to DR and embracing it, it shaped a desire to share the authentic Santo Domingo, going beyond the ordinary.
